KJF Announces 2nd Annual Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. Moustache Contest!
Congratulations to our winner, Laurence Tooth of Section B, who received an astouding 429 votes! In second place, with 269 votes, was Vladimir Shuliga of Section A. Both winners received gift certificates to Binny's Wine Discount Outlet, courtesy of Professor Buccafusco. Honorable mention goes to Tom Griffin of Section C, who received 158 votes. Please give a pat on the back to all of our wonderful contestants who sacrificed their dignity for weeks (if not mnoths) to raise money for a wonderful cause!
Extra thanks to first-year student Aaron Zalusec, our illustrious bartender at the 'Stache Bash, who helped coordinate the event and who generously donated $100 of his tips to our cause. You rock!
We hope everyone will continue to suport KJF and its mission of providing summer fellowships to students pursuing unpaid summer interships in the public interest by attending the SPRING AUCTION in March. More details to come!
Voting for the Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. Moustache Contest continues today, January 20th, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. outside the 3rd floor Spak. You may also vote at the 'Stache Bash, tomorrow from 9 p.m. until 12 a.m. at the Irish Oak (3511 N. Clark Street).

The Kent Justice Foundation, in collaboration with Professor Christopher Buccafusco, is pleased to announce the Second Annual Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. Moustache Contest, taking place January 18 - 21, 2011. Put your money where your mouth is this winter by growing a moustache for KJF! Voting lasts Tuesday, Jan. 18 to Friday, Jan. 21, culminating in a 'Stache Bash at an off-campus venue. This contest is closed to first-year students only. All proceeds go to fellowships for students pursuing unpaid summer internships in the public interest.
**Day students are to report to room 580 at noon on Tuesday, January 19th for photographs and moutache inpection. Evening students should report to room C35 at 5 p.m. on January 19th for the same.
